Church of St Bartolomeo , built in the eighteenth century, inside you can admire many coeval frescoes;

Mother-church , dedicated to the Annunciation and to St Joseph, built between the seventeenth and the eighteenth century, with a façade of the late Renaissance and the interior adorned with many works of local artists;

Church of St Antonio, built in the eighteenth century in Baroque style, is located in the upper part of the village. Inside you will find precious golden stuccos;

Open-pit museum , born on 14 August 1997 with the aim of recovering the history, the traditions and the customs of the eighteenth and nineteenth century;

Calaforno’s hypogeum , a prehistoric artificial structure built underground, unique for the Mediterranean archeology;

Terravecchia , the old town of Giarratana.

5 August – Virgin Mary of the snow - Spectacular “SCIUTA” from the Church of St Antonio Abate of the Patron’s heavy simulacrum, carried on the shoulders by many devotees.
14 August – Onion festival - Traditional festival dedicated to our typical product: the onion. A feast among art, taste and traditions, tastings, crafts market, folklore and music.
24 August – Feast of St Bartolomeo – Celebrations in honor of St Bartolomeo Apostle, protector and main Patron 'ab antiquo' of Giarratana. Traditional "Cena" (auction of gifts) and evening procession.
From 26 December to 6 January – Living nativity scene – In the most magical time of the year Giarratana becomes an enchanted living nativity scene. You will find exhibitions and tasting of local products.
