"Staying at Locanda Angelica was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy! What a stunning location! It really is a haven of peace in the middle of this stunning part of Sicily. The room was wonderful and the bed was so comfortable.
Meeting this incredible family was a pure delight! Salvatore, Raphaela and her husband (whose name we are unsure how to spell - we're so sorry!) were so welcoming. Adriana was so helpful in her communication with us before we arrived. We ate in the restaurant whenever we could and our experience was magnificent! We loved meeting Salvatore and laughing together with him! He was so informative and generous, kindly allowing us to try so many of the local delicacies. We will never be the same after tasting this wonderful food!! WOW! We are now back in England but dreaming about when we may be able to return.

Little paradise surrounded by nature

"My partner and I are just back from a wonderful stay at Locanda Angelica. The stunning surroundings, peaceful garden, lovely cottage and last but not least the hospitality of the entire family made our holiday a very special one!
Already when booking directly with the accommodation the daughter Ariana has been very helpful and accommodating.
We had initially booked for one week and decided after a few days to extend our stay here, as it was simply everything we wished for.
We were traveling with our dog, and he was welcomed warmly by the whole family who have dogs themselves. A splendid place to bring your furry friend!
Our stay was in November and we were blessed with lovely weather on most days, but even rainy days were enjoyable inside our cosy cottage.
The cottages are well equipped with modern furnishing. Also the food at the restaurant on site is great (many options for a gluten free diet if applicable for you)!
The area around Giarratana has as lot to offer, especially if you enjoy the outdoors: forests, rivers, canyons and lovely villages are reachable in less than an hour by car. November is a quiet time in Sicily, and we very much enjoyed the peace and quiet at this time of year.
We discovered a little paradise, and will definitely be back!!"

"Beautiful spot surrounded by outstanding natural beauty! Ideal for walking, running or biking and excellent position for relaxing and sightseeing (Siracusa, Ragusa, Scicli, Modica, Noto...). Apartments are independent and very spacious. Swimming pool is big and quiet! Amazing staff! Recommended"
